SouthStar Energy Group Ltd. is committed to delivering Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of premium quality to our customers, while being in compliance to all applicable legal and standards' requirements. Accordingly, our quality management system ensures adherence to the requirements of our customers and delivery of premium quality. Our employees contribute and actively participate in delivering solutions and services in relation to customers' specifications and requests.

We ensure continuous improvement and enhanced customer satisfaction, by conducting annually reviews of our strategic performance, and generate goals and targets in line with our group corporate goals. We consistently review this policy for continuous relevance and suitability.

02.    CASHES POLICIES

SOUTHSTAR ENERGY prime focus on Community Affairs, Safety, Health, Environment and Security (CASHES) Policy lies with our emphasis on management’s responsibility for optimum community relationship, Health of all Personnel in every work location, members of the public that comes in contact directly or indirectly with our operations. Our procedures and activities are aimed at achieving a satisfactory management of (CASHES) issues. To maintain safe and healthy working conditions is a top priority, routine review of our (CASHES) at regular intervals provides monitoring and adequate control of (CASHES) risk arising from our work activities.

03.    COMMUNITY AFFAIRS

Our Community Affairs Policy focuses on our cordial and mutual relationship with host community. Our cooperate social responsibility (CSR) is designed with the host community at the centre and active participants in every activity of the company and the underlying benefits from our operations in their community, as well enhance commitment to safety standards. We provide updated (CASHES) instruction and training handbooks to employees. Develop and maintain an appropriate (CASHES) management system.

04.    SAFETY

Our Safety policy is designed to enhance commitment to safety standards. Ensure no loss time injuries (LTI). Ensure that our employees are trained before they are assigned a particular task and provides daily performance report. Appropriate PPE is maintained as required for every operations before embarking on each task. Our supervisors are charged to ensure that all personnel abide strictly to company safety standards and regulations.

05.    Occupational Health & Safety Policy

SouthStar Energy Group Ltd. provides premium Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning to the oil & gas, power, manufacturing, and telecommunication industries. We are committed to providing safe and healthy work conditions for the prevention of work-related injuries and ill-health in respect to our associated occupational health and safety risks and opportunities in conformance to prescribed legal requirements and relevant industry standards.

Thus, we generate the framework of our objectives to eliminate hazards and occupational health and safety risks within an environment for continual improvement. We are committed to providing and maintaining an effective system of joint consultation and participation of our employees in occupational health and safety.

06.    Environmental Policy

We adhere strictly to all statutory laws and procedures for the protection of the work place. We ensure our employees are trained properly before they are deployed. We ensure regular inspection and maintenance. We maintain liaison regularly with environmental agencies of the environment. We ensure that personnel and the environment is preserved in good state in the cause of our activities. Our policies ensure that staff maintain zero tolerance to unsafe acts and/or working in an unsafe environment.

07.    SECURITY

SOUTHSTAR ENERGY routine education of our workforce on current security challenges and the need to be security conscious. No visitor shall be allowed entrance into the company premises after 8pm. We ensure adequate protection of personnel and property/asset by maintaining liaison with official security operatives within our Operational areas. No identity card (ID) on, no entry into SOUTHSTAR ENERGY premises. Our CCTV security system is adequately provided to enhance security alertness.
